As part of our webinar series to explore opportunities for our member community, AIDAT is pleased to bring a session with Naval Science and Technology Laboratory - NSTL, a laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation - DRDO, to explore potential opportunities to engage with NSTL and support Atmanirbar Bharat - an initiative launched by GoI recently.

Naval Science & Technological Laboratory (NSTL), Visakhapatnam undertakes research and development of naval weapons and related systems (underwater mines, torpedoes, fire control systems, weapon launchers, targets, decoys).

Naval Science and Technological Laboratory (NSTL), Visakhapatnam came into existence on August 20, 1969. Commodore KR Ramanath (Later Rear Admiral) was the founder Director of the Laboratory. He was also the Director of Naval Science & Technology (DNST) at DRDO HQrs.

Dr. OR Nandagopan, Outstanding Scientist, took over as Director, Naval Science & Technological Laboratory on 01 August 2016. He would be addressing AIDAT members on the opportunities with NSTL.
